Walk in the Light as Dearly Loved Children, 3/29/2009
- You know, God does not wait for us to be a saint before He calls us a saint. He does not wait for us to be like His child before He calls us His child. He does not wait for us to be always walking in light before He calls us as the children of light. But He looks at us and sees us way out in the future — perfect and complete in Him, and He says we are His dearly loved children.
- What a guarantee and assurance! Really, it’s not up to you and me, for if it were, it will be truly hopeless. For who has the ability to fully transform fallen, corrupted men like us!? For we are not just walking in darkness, but we are completely darkness, we are children of darkness. And these children of darkness are God’s children of light. No doubt about it. God seals us with His Holy Spirit and look at this badge on me, it says, a dearly loved child of God, a child of light.
